Java - Software engineer
Software EngineerThis software engineer role will be a key contributor to the Reporting Service, the software engineer would work with business/technology/architecture teams to understand requirements and develop cutting-edge digital products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and implementing web-based reporting services in the cloud.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, engineers, enterprise architects, and IT teams, to develop and deliver high-quality software.Leverage knowledge of industry trends to build best-in-class technology to provide competitive advantage.Participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes following the best practices.Ensure high operational efficiency and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support commitment to our customers.Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed :Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software engineering.Expertise in Java programming language including frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.Expertise in REST API development.Proficiency in implementing Java rules engines such as Drools.Proficiency in enterprise Java applications using EJB, JMS, and server-side programming. Hands-on experience with WebLogic application server.Proficiency in migrating on-prem applications to cloud-native in implementing scalable containerized computing and solutions for example Kubernetes, Docker, etc.Good hands-on experience working with Oracle & MySql DB.Proficiency in data formats such as JSON, HL7, and XML.Agile Development, DevSecOps, and standard software development tools such as Git and Jira.Deep technical knowledge of 1 public cloud services (preferably Azure).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Other requirements:Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably focusing on clinical and billing with tools like Dynatrace.
