AI Python Engineer

Title: AI Python EngineerLocation: Sunnyvale, CA – Onsite (Local or Nearby Candidates Preferred)Client: Wipro/AppleRate: $60/hour on C2CEmployment Type: Contract – C2C is acceptableKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and build an AI-powered support bot (web/chat-based) for Hypercare query resolution.Develop agentic workflows to retrieve and synthesize answers from:Past incident ticketsKnowledge bases and documentationEnterprise data sources and APIsImplement RAG / multi-source retrieval pipelines to provide contextual and accurate responses.Build APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI and Apple-approved AI frameworks.Ensure compliance with security, governance, and enterprise AI platform constraints.Collaborate with Hypercare and support teams to continuously improve AI response accuracy.Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems, including tickets, logs, APIs, and knowledge repositories.Develop scalable AI solutions using microservices and distributed-system architectures.Core RequirementsStrong experience in Python backend development, preferably with FastAPI.Hands-on experience building LLM-based applications, including:RAGAgentic AI workflowsAI/Knowledge AssistantsLLM-powered applicationsStrong experience with multi-source data integration.Understanding of support workflows, incident triage, and knowledge management systems.Strong API design, microservices, and distributed systems fundamentals.Experience with AI/ML frameworks, LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines is highly desirable.Preferred / Good to HaveExperience working in Hypercare or production support environments.Experience with enterprise AI platforms and governed AI environments.Experience implementing AI agents, tool calling, orchestration, or workflow automation.Experience with cloud-based AI solutions and scalable backend architectures.Success CriteriaReduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) during Hypercare.Enable self-service query resolution for support engineers.Deliver a scalable and reusable AI support framework for future releases.
