Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: NegligibleDescription Job Summary: The representative will provide excellent customer service, while assisting customers with a variety of parts needs.Job Responsibilities:Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling material packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area for shipmentMaintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the warehouseIdentify damages, lost, or surplus materials stored in the warehouseCompletes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from customer locationsMaintains lift truck by completing preventive maintenance inspection sheetsMaintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing receiptsStock merchandise racksCheck merchandise and affix barcode labelsMatch purchase orders to sales orders and distribute appropriatelySort merchandise according to size and/or product codeMaintains quality service by following organization standardsMaintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules and regulationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededCoordinate activities with other Parts or Warehouse staffOccasional duties assisting customers on parts counterAnswer phonesCarry out any tasks as assigned by the Parts ManagerQualifications Must have High School Diploma or equivalentMust have a minimum of 1 year experience in shipping/receiving, parts or warehouse environment, heavy equipment industry experience a plus.Excellent written and oral communication and basic mathematical skills.Proficient with a computer, including the use of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, push, pull, twist and carry and lift up to 70lbs.Maintain excellent customer serviceMust be able to pass a background, physical, and drug screen
