Accounting Manager
Accounting Manager Full-Time | On-Site | We’re seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to serve as the financial backbone of our clients organization. This is a highly hands-on, execution-focused role. You’ll own the full accounting function alongside a Staff Accountant and report directly to the President & CFO.If you thrive in lean environments, enjoy taking ownership, and want direct visibility with leadership, we’d love to connect.What You’ll DoFinancial Reporting & Month-End CloseIndependently own and execute full month-end closeReconcile bank and credit card statementsPrepare and format P&L statements for executive reviewProcess journal entries including commission accruals, prepaid expenses, insurance write-offs, and intercompany splitsManage reconciliations and expense analysisCash Management, AP & ARMonitor bank accounts dailyProcess weekly payables, checks, and online paymentsSupport AR activities for across multiple properties, including collections follow-up and aging reportsExecute daily bank deposits through online scan systemsPayroll & HR AdministrationProcess semi-monthly payroll (Proliant, ADP or Paylocity experience desired)Handle onboarding, terminations, and benefits administrationCoordinate annual benefits renewals with brokerCompliance & TaxCoordinate with CPA on federal/state income and property tax filingsFile all 1099s and W-2sManage quarterly payroll tax paymentsSupport annual insurance audits and business license filingsWhat We’re Looking ForProven ability to independently own and execute full month-end closeStrong day-to-day accounting experience including AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entriesPayroll processing experience for multi-employee organizationsQuickBooks proficiency requiredMust reside within ~25 miles of Johns Creek (Duluth, Alpharetta, Roswell, Milton, Norcross, Cumming, or Suwanee preferred)Why Join?Full close ownership with direct visibility to leadershipCompany-funded retirement plan - no employee match requiredLean, collaborative team with minimal bureaucracyStable, established company with dedicated onboarding support
