Wastewater Treatment Engineer

Job Description Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join their Colorado Springs team as a subject matter expert!Responsibilities:Advise internal/external teams on all wastewater treatment issuesAs the subject matter expert on wastewater treatment, provide firm-wide direction, internal consultation, and services to clientsEnsure all processes/systems comply with local, state, and federal regulationsPrepare/review compliance documentation and reportsMaintain reputation as technical expert by writing papers, giving technical presentations, and/or regularly represent the firm in professional/technical societiesProduce quality work and ensure QC standards are maintainedResearch/analyze wastewater-related data, trends, and emerging technologiesBuild/maintain client relationshipsRepresent firm at professional organizationsLead/manage water/wastewater treatment projects from design through implementationPrepare detailed project plans, budgets, and schedulesMentor/train junior staffRequirements:Bachelor's degree in engineeringMaster's degree in chemical, civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering preferred10+ years of water/wastewater processing engineering experiencePE LicenseStrong technical background/experience in wastewater treatment, wastewater modeling, and regulatory complianceSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!www.harrisonconsultingsolutions.com517-906-6926
