Working in conjunction with the airport and government agencies, the main priority of each position is to ensure that we maintain compliance with local and federal regulations in respect to each of the following:Entrance Guard Post : assure that only authorized personnel enter the facility, and visitor log managementFixed Post Positions:Assure that only authorized personnel enter the facilityPerform proper physical property searchEnsure proper escort procedures are followedProvide line of sight security throughout the red line demarcation areaEnsure positive control of dock entranceQualificationsQualifications/Requirements:This position requires you to obtain Airport Badging and The Department of Homeland Security requires an extensive background check to obtain badging which include 10-year verifiable background check, including criminal, employment, credit, education, and personal references. Also, must be able to pass a Security Threat Assessment as administered by the Transportation Security AdministrationAdditional requirementsMust be at least 18 years oldMust have a valid State Security LicenseUpon hire, must provide proof of legal right to work in the United StatesAbility to effectively speak, write, and understand the English languageMust be able to pass all initial and recurrent training classes and exams as administered by Global Security and Airport AuthorityMust have access to reliable transportation
