In partnership with OEMs, we utilize our innovative, high-speed motor generator technologies to help meet industry demand for more energy-efficient products that reduce energy consumption, reduce harmful emissions and enhance energy security We are currently seeking an Electromechanical Assembler who will be responsible to assemble high precision electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with applicable drawings, schematics and specifications Note: This is a contract to hire position Responsibilities: Assembly of high precision coil windings, sensors and electric motor components and sub-assemblies Soldering of fine wiring Encapsulation of electrical assemblies Follow blueprints, routers and work instructions Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following: J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, process routers and work instructions Manual dexterity required. Ability to use fine precision tools, fixtures, testing apparatus Able to work on prototype, engineering and production type hardware, using sketches and verbal instructions or notes 3-5 years’ experience assembling electrical parts in a production environment Physical Demands / Work Environment: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques. Personal protective equipment may be required in some warehouse areas. Do you have experience soldering using microscopes? micro-soldering? Do you have experience with electrical testing (Hipot, resistance, inductance, etc.)? Do you have experience in the production of magnetic assemblies? Experience: Precision Electronics Assembly: 3 years (Preferred) License/Certification: J-STD-001 Certification (Preferred) IPC-610 Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
