About the Opportunity:The Development Manager role is designed to advance fundraising and community engagement efforts, primarily within Southern California and the regional Kidney Walk program. This position is critical for driving revenue growth through corporate and community partnerships, volunteer engagement, and peer-to-peer fundraising. The role contributes to achieving financial goals and increasing the organization''s impact by managing fundraising initiatives and supporting event execution.3. Responsibilities:Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, community partners, volunteer leaders, and individual donorsLead growth of the regional Kidney Walk program via participant recruitment, coaching, and team developmentEngage and support volunteers, committee members, and fundraising championsImplement strategies to boost peer-to-peer fundraising participation, team growth, donor retention, and event revenueManage sponsorship renewals and seek new partnership opportunitiesCollaborate with the development team to meet financial objectivesRepresent the organization at community and networking eventsRecruit and engage event committees and community ambassadorsTrack fundraising progress and support achievement of regional revenue targetsCoordinate sponsor fulfillment and stewardship activitiesMaintain accurate records and support fundraising reporting and dashboardsSupport planning and execution of fundraising events with regional and national teamsManage project timelines, communications, and follow-up activitiesAssist with onsite event execution, budget tracking, and administrative dutiesIdentify process improvements for operational efficiency and enhanced constituent experienceEnsure compliance with organizational policies including risk management and financial controlsPerform additional duties as assigned4.
