Maintain all tractor, vehicle, and small engine parts, as well as assisting with work orders and ordering. Stay engaged and aware of continuous improvement and best practices with parts management.Summary of Key Responsibilities:Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Develop parts stocking and management programsMaintain inventory of essential partsHelp develop strategies to stay within budget that do not involve skimping on preventative, routine, and reactive maintenanceAssist in allocating parts to work orders to maximize mechanic productivityCoordinate with VM staff to ensure smooth flow of operationsEnsure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct locationBe proactive, document and communicate issues to appropriate personnel as establishedPerform root cause analysis on problems that arise within stocking and inventory managementEnsure parts are in-stock or ordered in a timely manner as needed for all scheduled repairsAssist VM manager on work orders to ensure parts needed for service and repair are readily availableDevelop, implement, and maintain an obsolete parts management programHelp with entering work orders into Maintenance Connection or equivalentEnsure proper parts procedures and policies are accessible to affected staffAssist in creating work orders for scheduled services and reactive maintenance, including parts, procedures, and tools neededWork with Maintain X or equivalent to keep stock accurateAccomplish objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures and inventory controlPerform other tasks as assignedQualificationsBasic Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma is requiredValid driver's license is requiredRelevant technical experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquiredOccasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawlingOccasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 75lbsRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAdequate computer skills including work order input and emailMust be flexible and able to adjust to the requirements of the resort as neededAbility to work cooperatively with a variety of other company personnel and outside firmsSuperior attitude, self-motivating, and ability to work independently and collaborativelySuperior written and verbal communication skillsIt is the policy of Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC to provide equal opportunity and employment to all staff and applicants.
