Occupational Therapist School Setting in West Point, GA

An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide onsite support within a K-12 school setting in West Point, GA, near Columbus. This full-time, contract position runs through the current school year, concluding May 21, 2026.Responsibilities include delivering occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of school-aged children across the K-12 spectrum. Caseload assignments will be determined based on the candidate's experience, preferences, and district requirements to ensure effective and targeted therapy interventions. Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and other professionals, the OT/COTA will facilitate progress toward individualized educational goals.Key qualifications for this role:Active Georgia OT license is required.A minimum of one year of clinical experience in occupational therapy, ideally including pediatrics, is preferred.COTAs with school-based experience are encouraged to apply and will be given priority consideration.Ability to work onsite daily and maintain flexibility to meet district needs.This position offers a 37.5-hour workweek, typically structured as 7.5 hours per day.
