Logistics Coordinator

DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support shipping and distribution operations for an organization in Plymouth, Minnesota. This is a contract position that will focus on coordinating domestic and international logistics activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and helping ensure timely movement of goods. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, experience with customs-related processes, and confidence using Microsoft Office in a fast-paced onsite environment.Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily transportation and shipping activities to support efficient product movement across domestic and international channels.- Prepare, review, and maintain import, export, and customs documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and communicate status updates.- Support distribution planning by organizing logistics schedules, shipment records, and related operational data.- Use internal systems and Microsoft Office tools to manage shipping information, reporting, and document control.- Help maintain continuity of logistics operations during team coverage changes and short-term workload shifts.- Identify and address exceptions involving freight, documentation, or customs requirements to minimize delays.Requirements - Previous experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or distribution coordination.- Hands-on knowledge of international logistics processes and customs documentation.- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities with strong attention to detail.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and related business tools.- Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and external logistics partners.- Familiarity with manufacturing or product-based environments is preferred.- Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Plymouth, Minnesota.
