OverviewMural Industrial is partnering with a global industrial manufacturer to hire an Environmental Engineer for a large-scale manufacturing facility. This is a heavily environmental-focused role centered around air permitting, emissions compliance, wastewater management, and regulatory reporting within a complex industrial operation. The site operates large-scale manufacturing equipment and smokestack systems in close proximity to residential areas, making environmental compliance and agency coordination critical to day-to-day operations.What You'll Be DoingManage air permitting and emissions compliance activities for the siteSupport smokestack emissions monitoring and environmental reportingCoordinate with regulatory agencies and support environmental audits and inspectionsOversee wastewater management and related compliance activitiesMaintain compliance with EPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and related environmental regulationsPrepare technical reports, documentation, and regulatory submissionsPartner with operations, engineering, and global environmental teams to support compliance initiativesSupport ISO 14001 environmental management system activitiesTrack corrective actions and support continuous improvement efforts across the siteWhat They're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field3+ years of environmental engineering or environmental compliance experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsStrong experience with air permitting, emissions compliance, and environmental reportingFamiliarity with EPA regulations, Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), and environmental auditsExperience working with regulatory agencies and external inspectorsStrong communication and technical documentation skillsComfortable working onsite in a hands-on industrial environmentNice to HaveISO 14001 experienceExperience with wastewater management programsExperience supporting large industrial manufacturing facilities
