Requirements for Backend Web Developer (Node.js - PayloadCMS) This Role Is For You If… You are a talented backend developer who enjoys building robust, scalable systems and wants to work with a modern headless CMS. This is a perfect opportunity for students, professionals, or anyone looking to gain deep experience with a modern, backend-focused project. Key Requirements: Strong Experience with Node.js & Express.js: You have a solid foundation in building backend services and APIs with the Node.js ecosystem. Familiarity with Headless CMS Concepts: You have experience with, or a strong desire to learn, headless platforms. Direct experience with PayloadCMS is a major plus, but experience with similar tools (Strapi, Sanity, Contentful) is also highly valuable. Proficiency in TypeScript: You have experience writing clean, scalable, and type-safe backend code. API Design & Development Skills: You can design, build, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints. Database Knowledge: You are comfortable working with databases, particularly MongoDB, and understand data modeling principles. A Collaborative & Proactive Mindset: You are a self-starter who communicates well, enjoys working with frontend developers, and can manage your time effectively in a remote environment.A Passion for the Mission: You are genuinely excited to use your technical skills to contribute to a non-profit cause.
