Engineering Manager

Position: Engineering SupervisorLocation:  rock hill, SC (onsite 5 days)Why: To help divide the work with another supervisor that is on that team.Mission: To manager and build a team of engineers Day to day :Managing a team of 10Software ELS-pole that uses that programManage a team to deliver designs, quotes, and drawings for utility structures (e.g., tubular steel poles, arms, and accessories).Hire, mentor, coach, and hold teammates accountable.Apply and ensure consistent design policies and practices.Manage team priorities and set clear expectations.Deliver quality work on time with consistent results.Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement and business success.Make engineering decisions to ensure safe, competitive designs.Travel occasionally for customer visits, plant support, and trade shows (once every couple months)Must haves :8-20 years of experienceProfessional engineer licenseExperience in utilityStructural engineeringPole designPlusses:Master’s degree in engineering or businessThis is a direct hire opportunity.
