Senior SAS Consultant (SME / Expert) Engagement Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week) Duration: 2–3 Months Location: Remote - The selected consultant must be willing to travel to the client site in Washington, DC for meetings as needed.Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAS Consultant with deep expertise in SAS programming and architecture. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience designing and building end-to-end workflows, including ETL processes, statistical models, and advanced analytical workflows using SAS, preferably within the financial services domain.Key Requirements:Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAS programmingExperience with complex SAS environments, architecture design, and best practicesStrong understanding of governance, data quality, and enterprise-level data controlsProven experience in SAS-to-Python migration projectsAbility to work independently and provide strategic technical guidance
