Our Houston operation works closely with global engineering and manufacturing teams to support equipment performance, product development, and customer needs across the North American market.About the RoleAmerican Jereh Corporation is hiring a Pump Senior Engineer in Houston to support high-pressure pump product development, engineering execution, and continuous improvement for pressure pumping applications. This role is focused on API 674 reciprocating plunger pump products used in frac and pressure pumping service. The position requires direct pump product design experience, including fluid-end and/or power-end component involvement. This is not a general rotating equipment, centrifugal pump, reliability-only, or simulation-only role. The Pump Senior Engineer will support design, validation, manufacturing coordination, technical troubleshooting, product improvement, and collaboration with internal engineering, manufacturing, testing, field service, and global R&D teams. This role is a strong fit for someone with experience in:API 674 reciprocating plunger pump designFrac pump or pressure pumping equipment designFluid-end and/or power-end component developmentPump product engineeringHigh-pressure mechanical equipmentOEM oilfield equipment manufacturingMechanical design, GD&T, FEA, and validation testingRoot cause analysis tied to pump hardware and field performance ResponsibilitiesDesign and support development of API 674 reciprocating plunger pump products for frac and pressure pumping applications.Support fluid-end component design including fluid-end blocks, valves, valve seats, plungers, packing, manifolds, and related high-pressure components.Support power-end component design including crankshafts, crossheads, connecting rods, bearings, housings, and related rotating/mechanical assemblies.Review and develop engineering drawings, models, calculations, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.Apply GD&T, mechanical design principles, and applicable API, ASME, ISO, and internal engineering standards.Perform or support mechanical analysis, design verification, design validation, FEA, fatigue review, tolerance review, and manufacturability review.Support prototype builds, FAT/SIT activities, pump testing, field validation, and product qualification efforts.Investigate product performance issues and field failures, including RCA, corrective actions, and design improvement recommendations.Work with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, service, and field teams to improve product reliability, manufacturability, cost, and serviceability.Benchmark competitor products and support technical improvement of Jereh pump platforms.Coordinate with global engineering and manufacturing teams to support product alignment, documentation, testing, and release activities.Support customer-facing technical discussions when needed for pump performance, product improvement, or failure resolution.Perform other duties as assigned to support engineering execution, product development, and business needs. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical design, pump engineering, pressure pumping equipment, or high-pressure oilfield equipment.Direct experience with API 674 reciprocating plunger pumps or frac pump product design.Experience with fluid-end and/or power-end components for reciprocating plunger pumps.Experience working for or supporting an OEM manufacturer of frac pumps, pressure pumping equipment, or high-pressure oilfield equipment.Working knowledge of pump component design, mechanical drawings, GD&T, engineering documentation, BOMs, and manufacturing release processes.Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar.Experience supporting design validation, testing, failure analysis, product improvement, or field issue resolution.Ability to work onsite in Houston and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and service teams. Preferred SkillsExperience with pump design engineers or product teams from companies such as Kerr, SPM, Gardner Denver, FET, FMC, AW, Vulcan, NOV, Weir, BOMCO, or similar pressure pumping OEMs.Experience designing or improving fluid-end blocks, valve seats, valves, plungers, packing systems, manifolds, crankshafts, crossheads, connecting rods, or related pump components.Experience with high-horsepower frac pump platforms, including 2,500 HP or larger plunger pump systems.Experience releasing pump component drawings into production with GD&T.Experience supporting pump dyno testing, FAT/SIT, prototype testing, field failure investigation, or product qualification.Experience with FEA, fatigue analysis, materials selection, high-pressure sealing systems, lubrication systems, or mechanical reliability improvement.Experience working with global engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
