Aegis WorldwideSafety Specialist1st SHIFT/$60-$95k/FULL TIMELafayette, INOverview:Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with an automotive manufacturer.ResponsibilitiesConduct safety audits, equipment safety reviews, and incident investigations to identify hazards and determine root causesDevelop, update, and ensure compliance with safety policies, engineering standards, and applicable OSHA/ANSI/NFPA regulationsCoordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to implement corrective actions and injury reduction plansDevelop and deliver safety training programs while maintaining training records and supporting the ISO 45001 safety management systemSupport safety initiatives including safety campaigns, industrial hygiene sampling, and safety reviews for equipment and packagingRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field5–10 years of relevant safety or industrial hygiene experience preferredProfessional certification such as ASP, CSP, or similar preferred
