Role: Python / Informatica DeveloperLocation: Jersey City, NJFulltime – PermanentJob DescriptionMust Have Technical/Functional SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Python developmentExperience with Informatica PowerCenter (development, enhancements, and support)Strong SQL and database skills, including creating/modifying database tables, views, and queriesExperience in application design, development, testing, and supportKnowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and data validationExperience working in Agile development environmentsStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skillsExcellent communication and coordination skillsGood to Have SkillsBanking/Financial Services domain experienceUnix/Linux scriptingData warehousing conceptsCI/CD and version control tools (Git, Jenkins)Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, maintain, and test software solutions using Python and Informatica.Collaborate with business partners, architects, and development teams to ensure successful delivery of application solutions.Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and development tasks.Develop and maintain database objects including tables, views, and related components based on business requirements.Create and execute unit test cases and ensure high-quality, defect-free deliverables.Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution as needed.Coordinate and communicate effectively with onsite leadership, developers, and distributed teams.Provide regular status updates and proactively escalate risks or issues.Work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring timely delivery.Guide and mentor development team members and support technical decision-making.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
