Position Overview: We are seeking a highly analytical, organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with ambiguity, as priorities and project scopes often evolve. The Analyst, Strategic Finance offers meaningful exposure reporting directly to the VP of Investor Relations & Strategic Finance and supporting work that reaches the CFO and the executive leadership team. There is significant opportunity to shape the function, drive financial performance improvements, and grow into broader strategic responsibilities. Location: Onsite in Charlotte, NC Your Day To Day As An Analyst, Strategic Finance: Support BWXT's capital expenditure, working capital, and long-term strategic planning processes with a deep focus on financial analysis, critical thinking, and cross functional partnership. Report, analyze, and develop KPIs related to working capital and capital investments. Prepare materials for the executive leadership team. Manage the long-term strategic planning forecast cycle and quarterly R&O updates. Perform a variety of ad hoc analytical projects. Partner closely with finance teams across the business and with operations. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance. Experience independently exploring data, identifying insights, and proactively recommending new areas of analysis. Experience preparing executive level materials and translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights. Demonstrably superior analytical and presentation skills. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a D.O.E. clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience leveraging advanced analytics, AI tools, or platforms such as Power BI, Databricks, or OneStream. Pay: $65,000 - $103,000
