Electrical Apprentice

Overview We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic construction and electrical services team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience working alongside licensed electricians on a variety of commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in electrical systems, safety protocols, and construction processes, with opportunities for professional growth and skill development. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical installations Use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment such as ohmmeters to perform wiring and troubleshooting tasks Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC standards Aid in the setup and framing carpentry as needed for electrical infrastructure Follow safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members Participate in site clean-up and organization to maintain an efficient work area Experience Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Construction site experience is beneficial, especially familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters is advantageous Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage systems, including NEC standards, is preferred Experience with framing carpentry or working on construction sites demonstrates relevant skills for this role This position provides valuable exposure to the electrical trade with opportunities for mentorship and career advancement within the industry.
