Education, Training, Skills and Licenses Required Previous experience with shipping processes such as pulling and packing Ability to read and understand customer requirements on orders Good communication skills, both written and verbal Must be able to work independently and in a team environment Eventual forklift certification will be required Essential Functions Read and understand customer requirements on orders Pull and count parts from assigned locations with barcode scanning device and correctly document on customer orders Understand method of shipment and packing requirements Understand customer shipping requirements; labeling, packaging, required documentation Good attendance is required for this position Safety sensitive position Marginal Functions Other duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor Equipment Used Barcode scanner Weight scale Wrapper Pallet jack Forklift / Joey lift Other shipping equipment Work Environment This job operates in a manufacturing environment with no air conditioning and loud machine noises. Employee is required to wear safety glasses at all times.
