The successful candidate will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support mission critical product features and operational needs.Position Responsibilities:Collaborate with product managers, systems engineers, and other developers to refine product requirements and convert them into robust software solutionsDesign, implement, test, and deliver software components and services for enterprise or embedded product platformsWrite clear, maintainable, and well-documented code following established architecture and coding standardsParticipate in code reviews, design reviews, and continuous improvement activitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production and development issues in a timely mannerImplement and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression testsSupport CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and deployment processesEnsure software complies with security, safety, and government regulatory requirements relevant to the domainMentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharingMaintain accurate development artifacts (design docs, release notes, test plans)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degreeActive U.S. Secret Clearance3+ years of professional software development experienceWorking knowledge of JavaExperience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)Experience with version control (Git)Experience with Agile methodologiesExperience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservicesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and build systemsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+ years of related, relevant experience4+ years of professional software development experienceExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of secure coding practices and familiarity with security assessment toolsExperience in avionics, aerospace, defense, or other safety-critical domainsFamiliarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) or embedded real-time systemsMaster’s degree in a related technical disciplineDrug Free Workplace:We are a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:We strive to deliver a total rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
