Job DutiesAssist journeyman pipefitters or peers with the demolition, de-installation, rigging, fitting, and/or installation of equipment, supports, and pipeProactively receive mentoring from a journeyman pipefitter or SupervisorsUse hand and power tools with proper certificationOver the four years of the apprenticeship, learn and apply knowledge of the following:Layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systemsMaking and reading isometric drawingsReading construction plans and shop drawings for pipe systemsInspecting and testing piping systemsPiping industry codesMaintain a good attendance record and comply with apprenticeship program requirementsMaintain a record of on-the-job training and submit to apprenticeship program as requiredOther duties, as assignedFollow all safety rules and regulationsEmployee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidaysQualifications & RequirementsMust successfully pass a background check and drug/alcohol testingHigh school diploma or equivalentOne year of construction experience is preferredOSHA 10 desiredFavorable driver's record/valid license desiredKnowledge and acceptance of good health and safety principles and practices are desiredPerks & BenefitsCompetitive and top-market wagesHealth, dental, and vision insuranceContinuous training opportunitiesCareer growth and development opportunitiesPersonal Leave401(k) planEducation tuition reimbursementGym membership reimbursementAnd much moreEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
