Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) – Ballard/SeattleLocation: Seattle, WA (NW 14th Ave)Pay: $25.96 – $38.94 / hour (Based on experience)*7.5% Differential + Sign-on Bonus*Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No patient time 12–1 PM)Type: Contract-to-HirePosition OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join a patient-centered primary care clinic in Seattle. This role is designed for those who value quality over quantity—physicians are intentionally capped at 10–12 patients per day to ensure comprehensive care. You will work in a supportive 1.5:1 MA-to-provider ratio, splitting your time between hands-on clinical duties and essential administrative coordination.The Day-to-DayClinical Support (50%): Rooming patients, taking vitals, prepping charts, assisting providers with procedures, and maintaining exam room readiness.Administrative Coordination (50%): Managing referrals, prior authorizations, patient scheduling, insurance verification, and handling phone inquiries.Patient Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for patient check-in/greeting and facilitate a smooth transition to follow-up care and check-out.Required QualificationsCertification: Active Washington State DOH Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) or CMA.BLS/CPR: Must be from American Heart Association (AHA), Red Cross, or Military Training Network.Compliance: Ability to provide vaccination documentation for COVID-19 and Hep B.Background: Comfort working in a primary care setting.Preferred SkillsExperience with EPIC / MyChart or similar EMR systems.Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.Phlebotomy experience is a significant plus.We are open to "greener" candidates (entry-level up to 12 months post-cert) who are eager to learn and grow.Why Apply?Focused Care: Work in an environment that prioritizes patient experience and clinical outcomes over high productivity quotas.Strong Support: Comprehensive 2–3 week shadowing and training program with dedicated MA trainers.Growth Potential: Contract-to-Hire eligibility with a $5,000 conversion bonus.Incentives: Once converted, employees enjoy an annual incentive plan (up to 3%) and location-based pay differentials.Commute: Generally free parking or reimbursement options available.
