Position SummaryBald Head Island Club is seeking a motivated and dependable Seasonal Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization, and supporting chefs and line cooks in delivering high-quality dining experiences for our members and guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in food quality and presentation.Responsibilities Prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing, portioning, and measuring Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen setup Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times Properly label, store, and rotate food products Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries Support chefs and kitchen staff during service periods Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a team environment Qualifications Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organization Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the kitchen regularly Ability to work safely in hot, cold, and fast-paced kitchen environments Benefits Flexible scheduling Employee meals Club perks and employee discounts Growth and advancement opportunities Beautiful island work environment Supportive team atmosphere
