Description 1:1 Personal Care Assistant / PCA (Andover, MN) Job type Monday - Friday (21 hours per week) Overview Providing 1:1 care in a loving home. Must have a Driver's License with a good driving record to drive the client on errands/appointments. Description We are looking for a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patient’s homes in accordance with an established care plan. Responsibilities Helping client with organizing of home Perform domestic and household tasks (light housekeeping/laundry) Driving to appointments and errands Meal prep (the client will advise on what type of meals) Assist with client’s personal care activities (Bathing/dressing) Reminders (medications/schedule) Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Skills and Requirements Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Proficiency in English Caring and compassionate personality Helpful Skills Proven working experience as Personal Care Assistant including bathing and toileting. Health care administration skills Benefits: Flexible Schedule Competitive Pay 401k ESST - Sick & Safe Time - 1 hour accumulation every 30 hours (max 48/year, max accumulation 80 hours).
