Description:Client : NTT DATA Work Location : Bothell, WA (Permanent remote work accepted from anywhere in US) Rate : bill rate amt/hour Note from the Hiring Manager : This role requires a senior architect with strong solution design capabilities as well as hands-on Terraform development experience.Job Description :Day to Day Job Duties : • Design, architect, and deploy Hybrid Cloud environments spanning AWS (and Azure where applicable), covering compute, networking, and storage • Administer and maintain cloud and on-prem OS/server environments, including ongoing troubleshooting and performance tuning • Build and maintain automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) to streamline provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud resources • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies such as DevSecOps, AIOps, and Containers as part of client solutions • Work independently on project engagements, recommending solutions and validating them through Proof of Concepts (POCs) • Debug and analyze complex technical issues, including handling P1/P2 incident calls and escalations • Author formal external Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation and deliver related presentations to customers • Mentor and support L1/L2/L3 support staff, providing technical guidance during escalations • Communicate directly with internal teams and external customers, both in writing and verbally, to resolve issues and deliver a strong customer experienceBasic Qualifications : • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture, networking, and storage; Azure experience a plus • Minimum 3+ years of experience designing and deploying Hybrid Cloud environments • Minimum 3+ years of scripting/automation experience, includingIaC/Terraform • Minimum 2+ years of OS/server administration and maintenance experience • Minimum 2+ years of experience handling P1/P2 incident calls, escalations, and formal RCA documentation • Demonstrated experience working independently on client-facing project engagements and conducting POCsTravel : None requiredLocation : RemoteDegree : Bachelors in computer science or equivalent work experienceNice to Have : • Experience with DevSecOps and AIOps tooling • Containers/Kubernetes experience • Prior experience mentoring or leading L1/L2/L3 support teamsEnable Skills-Based Hiring No ICIMS RR ID # Additional Details Skill Category : Niche ICIMS RR ID # : NA Client Name : NTT Data Services Engagement Type : Managed Steady State Vertical : NTT Data Internal Must-Have Primary Skill : CADM-Cloud Apps-Cloud Devops Primary Skill: Yrs Experience : Master (8+ Years Experience) RC- Domain : Cloud & Virtualization RC- Subdomain : 10 - External Cloud Server Services, Cloud Integration, Citrix Services, Vmware Technologies, IoT Cloud Platforms, Cloud Development and Migration, VMware RC- Role : Architect RC- Experience Level : III RC- Geo Tier : US-4 RC- Exception Required : No COVID-19 Vaccine Required? : (No Value) Client-Accepted Visa Types : Perm Resident/Citizen only
