Job description:Lead Audio Video TechnicianBase Pay $52,000.00- $75,000.00/Per YearInfinity A/V and Security in Sanford has immediate full-time position for AV/Sound Lead Technician. This is a permanent, full-time, Monday through Friday position. Candidate would be responsible for the oversight and installation of various Commercial Low Voltage System installations in Orlando and throughout Central Florida.Infinity AV and Security is one of Central Florida’s premier residential and commercial systems integrators. We offer sales, service, engineering, installation, design and consulting services for a vast number of low voltage systems including: Audio Visual, CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Distributed Audio, Home Theater, TV Distribution, Voice/Data and Pro Sound.This position is an hourly position and also includes and company vehicle, so a clean driving record is required.We are looking for a dependable candidate who can work independently with a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ verifiable experience as a full-time Audio-Visual Technician. This candidate must be proficient in installing and troubleshooting Audio Video; CCTV; Distributed Audio; TV; Pro-Audio; Television Distribution systems. Candidate should take pride in the work they do while providing a professional and safe working environment. In addition, the candidate should have the followingMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to lift 50 lbs.Customer Service skills3 – 5 years of consistent and recent work in the Audio Video industryUnderstanding of Audio Video installation, construction techniques as well as structured cabling and low voltage systemsAbility to manage small and medium sized projectsAbility to read/interpret plans & specificationsUnderstanding of electric circuits and wiring in low voltage applicationsExperience programming IP based products with an understanding of computer networkingExperience or basic understanding of test equipment related to this fieldFamiliarity with Crestron, Extron, AMX type control systemsProficient in wire and cable managementExperienced in setting up wall and ceiling mounted displays, projectors and projector screensAbility to multi-task within a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesAbility to pass criminal background check and drug testsMust possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving recordAbility to perform installation of concealed devices and wiringMotivated team player with positive attitude and desire to learn and deliver high-quality workAbility to quickly troubleshoot in the field and conduct diagnostics to successfully problem-solve under pressure for all types of low voltage systemsProficiency installing and/or servicing Audio Video; CCTV; Distributed Audio; TV; Pro-Audio; Television Distribution systemsWorking knowledge of low voltage systems integration including, but not limited to, equipment application, compatibility, mounting techniques and testing proceduresAdditional Qualifications (Not Required)CTS; CTS-D or CTS-I CertificationsBICSI CertificationsCrestron programming/certifications experienceExtron programming/certifications experienceWe offer a benefit package including: Health insurance; paid holidays; paid vacation; employee training assistance program, bonuses, and very competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
