This individual will be working closely with end users, ETL developers, Data Modelers / Architects, Report Developers and Functional teams.REQUIRED SKILLS:10+ years of proven hands on experience in the role of a Business Systems Analyst in a Data Warehouse / BI environmentExtensive data modeling experience using ERwin r7 or higherExtensive experience creating, maintaining, and fine-tuning Oracle database objects using Toad for Oracle 11 or higherAble to represent as a Project Manager and subject matter expert (SME). Would be the point person to effectively communicate between the business, partner and technical teams (onsite and offshore). Lead communication/status meetings on projects as well as joint application development (JAD) sessions with IT partners.Ability to provide day -to- day direction to the project team and regular project status to the client.Strong understanding of data warehousing methodology, data mapping and modeling, ETL, databases, and Business Intelligence and their processesStrong knowledge of SQL, Oracle database, stored procedures and ad-hoc query developmentStrong ability to work with star and snowflake schema designs and extensive knowledge in building and designing logical /physical data modellingStrong business analysis experience to capture data and reporting requirements and translating to technical specs for the enterprise data warehouseExtensive experience in data analysis and develop data mapping and functional solution design documents for ETL developersPerforms source data model / data analysis, and target EDW data model / data analysisCapture business rules and builds physical design document to meet user requirementsAbility to work under pressure, adapt to changing environment, and multi-taskMust be an initiative taker and possess ability to work independently with minimal supervisionPossess a collaborative working style and the ability to work independently in a team environmentExcellent communication and presentation skillsSelf-starter with ability to manage prioritiesAutomotive industry experience a plusf proven hands on experience in the role of a Business Systems Analyst in a Data Warehouse / BI environmentExtensive data modeling experience using ERwin r7 or higherExtensive experience creating, maintaining, and fine-tuning Oracle database objects using Toad for Oracle 11 or higherAble to represent as a Project Manager and subject matter expert (SME).
