Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Work in 8-suite invasive cardiology department with 4 cardiac catheterization suites and 4 electrophysiology suites • EP schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) • Cath schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) • Weekend requirements including cath lab call • Emergency call, holiday, and call requirements mandatory • Floating required between cath and EP lab as needed • May float to Sarasota Venice Hospital with advance notice for full shifts • Must circulate and scrub as applicable • 5 years minimum clinical experience required in specialty • Prior travel experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS for Cath Lab CVT (CVT requires Associate's degree or higher) • Preferred certifications: RCES for EP CVTs • Must independently perform EP studies without assistance • Must be proficient in CARTO, ESI, and CRYO setup • Must scrub all EP lab procedures, not just implant/device cases • Must perform pacer protocols, measurements, and function in both monitor (STIM) and scrub roles • Dress code: Navy scrubs for RN, Maroon for CVTs, closed-toe shoes required • Documentation systems: XPER for Cath/EP and Claris for EP • Medication system: Pyxis • Patient population: Invasive cardiac patients, ages 18-100 • 3 days of orientation provided • No block scheduling accommodated Facility: This healthcare facility is an 895-bed regional medical center and one of the largest public health systems in Florida.
