Assist in identifying differential diagnoses, assesses illness severity, and prioritizes care. develop treatment plans and follow-up care, communicate pertinent patient information to covering physicians, and educate patients about their diagnoses and treatment plans. The PA orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests, obtains informed consent for procedures, exercises prescriptive authority as per state statutes, and documents patient visits in the EMR. They maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA requirements and continually update their medical knowledge through professional development. The Physician Assistant reports to the Medical Director and CEO of the clinic. DetailsCurrently 6 physicians/6 physician assistants working at the clinic.Growth: Need 6 more physicians and 6 physician assistants.Clinic entirely owned by Physicians.Independent from HospitalUp to 16 patient cases per day/per PA depending on years of experience.License/Certifications/ExperienceGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the relevant state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.DEA number.Preferred: 1 year of experience in acute care and familiarity with EMR systems.ScheduleFull timeMonday - Friday, No weekends currently.Able to participate with hospital on-call rotation - not mandatory.Compensation PackageCompetitive salary, DOESign-on bonus potential.Relocation assistanceLocated in the heart of the lush Willamette River Valley, this charming city is just an hour from the Cascade Mountains and an hour in the opposite direction from sandy beaches.
