This organization has been around for over 40 years and has never had a position like this before. The person they hire will be able to come in and build out safety policy and procedures from the ground up with the support of the HR Manager. They will work alongside their various other branches to help implement these new policies as well as report findings and strategies to the CFO. Please read below for more details!Responsibilities:Continuously improve the EHS management system at the facilityEnsure compliance with applicable occupational safety and environmental regulationsProvide overall EH&S leadership, mentoring and direction to plant and management team members to ensure employee health and the environment are protectedManage OSHA actions such as inspections, letters of noncompliance, informal conferences, etc.Requirements:5+ years of experience in manufacturing EHSOSHA 30 certifiedExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel up to 15% to different sitesThis is a fully on-site position.
