And we invest in our world-class team, empowering our colleagues to unpack their potential, because we believe when our people grow, so does our business.Job DescriptionThe EH&S Coordinator is an onsite position, responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the transportation safety management process, and assists the EH&S Manager in providing overall transportation safety support and guidance to the company. In addition to championing a safety culture across the company, this role oversees safety systems and activities to maintain oversight of regulatory compliance status; provides training to CMV operators; coordinates and conducts audits and inspections of the transportation safety management process; and monitor metrics reflecting performance.Shifts:FMCSA Coordinator Role - Day / Afternoon shift role - Tuesday - Saturday, hours are as follows - 10:00AM - 7:00PM, 1 Hour lunchFMCSA Coordinator Role - Night shift role Sunday - Thursday, hours are as follows - 11:00PM - 8:00AM, 1 hour lunchLocation:Onsite in Evansville, IndianaJob ResponsibilitiesELD ManagementRecord of Duty Status (RODS) and supporting document retentionAuditing driver's RODSEnsuring drivers are operating within hours-of-service limits (monitored daily)Manage driver logs to ensure timely and accurate completion, as well as compliance with Federal DOT regulations to include hours of service violations.Auditing driver's RODSAssist drivers with log issues & ensure FMCSA complianceSoftware support, interact with vendor and driver in troubleshooting and training on ELD hours of service applicationMonitor Driver daily Hours of Service (HOS) & follow-up with front line leaders / dispatch.Monitor unassigned drive timeDistribute eight days of logs to drivers as requiredProvide sub unit Lease Provider ELD credentials to driversSet up Geotab driver profiles / login credentialsArchive Geotab driver profiles who are no longer active.Monitor driver logs confirming ELD form & manner requirements BOL, load #, annotations etc.Monitor driver logs to confirm drivers are certifying their logs daily as required.Ensure reports are distributed to the correct contacts & site locations.Daily Safety ManagementDaily interaction with drivers via phone, email, ELDMonitor ELD safety telematics daily to include speeding, harsh brake, harsh corner.Monitor ELD electronic Equipment pre/post tripWork with Freightlines EH&S and the driver's supervisor on a corrective action planManage driver and fleet scorecard to track overall safety and compliance performanceMonitor electronic Pre/post-trip process via ELDAssist CPNA Maintenance team with Vehicle Maintenance records for all commercial motor vehicles (3rd party vendor can maintain vehicle maintenance files)Assist CPNA Maintenance team with Preventative maintenance schedule on all CMVS & trailer (quarterly)Report non-compliant drivers or incidents to responsible Front Line Leader and CPNA Logistics/facility EH&S Manager for corrective action/discipline.Assists in the replacement of defective ELDs authorized by the vendor and reviews vendor data on ELD for device tamperingPull collision information/notification data from Geotab for analysis. Report findings to CPNA Logistics EH&S ManagerOffice DutiesMaintain driver files, including MVR, CDL, Medical CardsAssist with general office tasks such as driver payroll, and accounts receivable/payable as needed.Assist with general office or logistics team tasks as deemed necessary by leadershipQualificationsTwo years of transportation safety management experienceOTR driving experience (preferred by not required)Working knowledge of federal and state safety laws, particularly FMCSR and OSHA standardsUnderstand and apply meaningful operations and safety performance metricsAbility to plan and execute events, and safety meetingsOrganization and attention to detailAdaptability, multi-tasking ability, sense of urgencyConfident decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, issue resolution skillsDeep understanding of legal safety guidelines, specifically in the transportation sectorAbility in producing reportsGood knowledge of data analysis and risk assessmentExcellent organizational and motivational skillsOutstanding attention to detail and observation abilityExceptional communication and interpersonal abilitiesDemonstrated results in establishing strategic goals and metrics for measuring successKnowledgeable and competent in behavioral-based safety programsKnowledge and experience with transportation systems and technologyStrong Computer application skills including Excel, Word, PowerPointOur ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
