Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term CareLocation: FalmouthDuration: 13 WeeksSchedule: 40-42.5 hours/weekShift: Evening Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)Days: 5 days/week (Every Other Weekend + Rotating Holidays)Position Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a long-term care setting. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, supervising support staff, and ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and a commitment to resident-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care in accordance with established care plans and physician ordersSupervise and support nursing assistants in daily resident care activitiesAdminister medications and treatments safely while verifying patient identityMonitor resident conditions and document changes accurately in medical recordsTranscribe and implement physician orders with attention to detailAssist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, including required documentationPerform clinical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, tube feedings, and specimen collectionMeasure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and family members regarding care plansCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams in care planning and deliveryMaintain adequate supplies and report needs to the Nurse SupervisorEnsure adherence to infection control protocols and patient confidentiality standardsPromote resident safety, comfort, and overall well-beingParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, surveys, and inspectionsQualificationsGraduate of an accredited nursing program or approved LPN programActive, unrestricted LPN license in the state of MassachusettsCurrent BLS / CPR / AED certification requiredPrior experience in long-term care preferredStrong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulatory standardsAbility to supervise staff and make sound clinical decisions independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare teamsMust be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishPhysically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and meeting job demandsFor more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
