Our teams operate in a fast-paced studio environment where creativity, technical precision, and collaboration drive the production of world-class imagery.We are seeking a reliable and engaging Child Wrangler to support on-set activities during photo shoots in our Portland studio. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for child talent, assisting with on-set coordination, and helping maintain a smooth and efficient workflow in alignment with client standards.What You'll DoSupervise and support child models throughout the shoot, always ensuring their safety and well-beingKeep children engaged, cooperative, and at ease between and during shootsAssist in guiding children into positions or actions as directed by the photographer or creative teamFoster a positive, calm, and playful on-set environmentCoordinate with parents/guardians, stylists, and production staff to manage schedules, breaks, and individual needsSupport wardrobe changes and transitions as neededMonitor energy levels and assist with snacks, hydration, and rest breaksAdapt quickly to changing production needs and varying child behaviorsWhat You BringPrior experience supporting photo or video productions, with an understanding of on-set workflows, pacing, and the ability to adapt to changing production needsBackground in early childhood education, childcare, performance, or child development, with a strong understanding of age-appropriate behavior, communication styles, and engagement techniquesDemonstrated ability to effectively engage and manage children through creative approaches such as games, storytelling, and interactive activities, while maintaining structure and focus in a production environmentTechnical SkillsPrior experience working with children (e.g., on-set, childcare, education, camp counseling)Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPatient, resourceful, and proactive in problem-solvingAbility to follow direction and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsMust hold a current child and adult CPR/First Aid certification and/or other relevant childcare certificationsReliable, punctual, and professionalPhysical RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by this position.
