Good Pantry – Commissary Kitchen Good Pantry is a refillery-style grocery store and prepared food business focused on fresh, thoughtful cooking made from scratch. We produce grain salads, soups, bone broth, simple desserts, and a wide range of house-made ferments and condiments. We are seeking an organized, self-motivated cook to take over day-to-day menu execution and production to assist owner and consulting chef. Position Details Pay: $25–$30 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-time, 2–3 days per week Hours: 6–8 hours per day, depending on inventory and production needs Location: Commissary kitchen (shared workspace) Trial: 1-week paid working trial Responsibilities Execute established recipes for fresh prepared foods Produce grain salads, soups, bone broth, condiments, and easy desserts Maintain strong organization of prep, production, labeling, and storage Manage daily production based on inventory and demand Work cleanly and efficiently in a shared commissary kitchen Uphold food safety standards and Good Pantry quality expectations Communicate clearly with ownership about production flow and needs Ideal Candidate Professional cooking experience (production or high-volume preferred) Strong knife skills and comfort with scratch cooking Highly organized and detail-oriented Self-directed and motivated, with good time management Able to work calmly alongside other businesses in a shared kitchen Reliable, consistent, and quality-focused Holds a current Food Handler’s Certificate (or able to obtain immediately) Perks & Benefits Employee discount on all Good Pantry bulk products Stable schedule Daytime production-focused hours (no late nights) Opportunity for long-term growth within a values-driven food business To Apply Please send: Resume A brief introduction Relevant kitchen experience Availability Any certifications More detail about Good Pantry, please visit
