This role requires strong leadership, scheduling expertise, and the ability to manage large, cross-functional teams.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesProject & Team LeadershipLead multiple large-scale residential and government construction projects concurrentlyManage and mentor teams including PMs, Project Engineers, and SuperintendentsServe as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholdersFoster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team environmentPreconstruction & EstimatingLead preconstruction efforts including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and risk analysisDrive value engineering and constructability reviewsSupport procurement strategies and subcontractor selectionFinancial ManagementOwn project financials including budgets, forecasting, cost control, and cash flowMonitor profitability and ensure projects meet or exceed margin targetsReview and approve change orders, pay applications, and financial reportingScheduling & ExecutionDevelop and manage detailed project schedules (Primavera, MS Project)Oversee critical path activities and proactively mitigate risksEnsure successful delivery across multiple active projectsContracts & OperationsManage owner and subcontractor agreementsEnsure compliance with scope, schedule, safety, and quality standardsResolve issues and maintain strong subcontractor relationshipsSafety & QualityEnforce OSHA and company safety standards (OSHA 30 preferred)Oversee QA/QC processes and site performancePromote a culture of safety and continuous improvementClient ManagementBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsProvide clear, consistent communication and executive-level reportingLead project closeouts, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfactionQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience8–15+ years of construction experience with a general contractorProven track record of managing and delivering multiple large-scale projects simultaneouslyStrong financial and cost management expertiseExperience leading large, cross-functional project teamsBackground in residential and/or government construction projectsEstimating experience strongly preferredAdvanced scheduling experience (Primavera, MS Project)Excellent communication skills and ability to operate with flexibility and urgency OSHA 30, or ability to acquire, is required State/local General Contractors license is preferred. PMP and CQMC preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, flexible paid time off, paid holidays, sick time, and a matching 401K plan.Work Conditions & TravelThis is a remote-based role with up to 50% travel to project sites nationwide, primarily supporting East Coast residential and government projects.
