Process Engineer

Job Description LT is looking for a motivated candidate to fulfill a Process Engineering position in the Plating Department.Responsibilities:• Create, update, and maintain detailed work instructions of electroplating processes for lineoperators.• Support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new and existing products,including preparation and revision changes of: Process Flow Diagrams Control Plans Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)• Collect and analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to monitor process performance andidentify opportunities for improvement.• Troubleshoot plating processes on the production floor, investigate quality issues, processvariation, and other production problems.• Identify and implement opportunities to improve quality, throughput, process capability, scrap,material usage, and overall manufacturing efficiency.• Collaborate with other engineers, quality personnel, maintenance, and production to addresshigh-priority manufacturing items.• Perform other duties and engineering projects as assigned.Required/Desired Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accreditedUniversityExperience in a manufacturing environment preferred but open to new graduatesWillingness to get out of the office and onto the manufacturing floorStrong knowledge in Microsoft Office / ExcelKnowledge of PPAPs / Control Plans / FMEAs preferred but not requiredKnowledge of SPC preferred not requiredKnowledge of ISO / IATF certifications preferred but not requiredMust work well in a team environmentMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-taskingMust be self-motivated and capable of prioritizing tasks in order to complete all work in a timelymannerCompensation:We offer competitive pay, company profit sharing, 401(k) plan, paid time off, andmedical/dental/vision/life and disability insurance for all regular full-time employees.Company DescriptionLeading Technologies Inc. is a full-service contract manufacturer.
