Control Systems Engineer

This is the first of three phases of investments planned at the same location. Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced control system engineer to lead electrical and instrument control system of our state of the art Petrochemical & Food Ingredients. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree Electrical engineering, about 15+ years of experience in manufacturing management in high quality petrochemical or chemical plants. Alternatively, candidates with Associate qualification with more than 20 years experience in plant maintenance of chemicals plants may be considered. The role involves testing, commissioning and maintenance of DCS control system, PLC systems and electrical network. Key Responsibilities: Oversight of all E& I control systems Functions: Plan, organize, and direct the activities related to testing, commissioning and maintenance of DCS, PLC, IMCC, VFD etc. The job includes developing software modifications needed in DCS/ PLC/ VFD systems, identify and resolve hardware defects etc. It also includes supervision of work on MV and LV electrical panels etc. Team Leadership: Build, Lead and manage the team of Electricians to ensure proper functioning of control system. Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement SOPs to ensure standard work practices. Production Management: Achieve production targets within set schedules and budgets while minimizing losses. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure compliance with all statutory HSE requirements and promote a safe working environment, achieve corporate objectives on EHS. Operational Excellence: Implement efficient work practices to optimize manpower and other resources. . Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement processes through the implementation of operational excellence principles. Training and Development: Drive Training and Development initiatives in the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Or Associate in Electrical Technology. 15 years( for Bachelor’s degree)/ 20 years (for Associate) of progressive experience in petrochemical or chemical plant maintenance. Strong technical expertise in DCS systems, PLCs, and familiarity with design & engineering of chemical plants.
