For more information, please visit THE.TEAM.We’re looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Creative Designer to support the visual storytelling of THETEAM’s basketball talent representation division. This role will be responsible for bringing THETEAM’s cross-disciplinary work across sports and marketing to life through compelling, on-brand design. You’ll collaborate closely with social, marketing, and talent teams to create visually engaging content that communicates our voice and elevates our presence across platforms.A major focus of this role will be translating client wins, partnerships, and insights into visually compelling, easy-to-digest creative—ranging from social graphics and infographics to motion and short-form video assets. We operate in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal candidate is someone who can execute quickly without sacrificing quality, thrives in a collaborative setting, and is equally comfortable working independently when needed.What You'll DoCreative Design & ExecutionDesign high-quality, on-brand creative across social, digital, and marketing channelsDevelop graphics, templates, and visual systems that ensure consistency across THETEAM’s basketball platformsExecute a range of assets including player announcements, gameday content, brand partnerships, and marketing collateralSupport motion design and short-form video editing as neededAthlete & Cultural StorytellingTranslate player moments, partnerships, and milestones into visually compelling, social-first creativeCollaborate with social, marketing, and talent teams to bring athlete narratives to lifeStay tapped into basketball culture, trends, and key moments to inform creative directionBalance creativity with clarity to ensure content is both engaging and brand-alignedBrand & CollaborationMaintain and evolve THETEAM’s visual identity across all touchpointsPartner closely with internal teams to align creative with strategic and client goalsApply feedback efficiently while upholding a high standard of designWorkflow & Project ManagementManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStay organized using project management tools (e.g., Asana) and maintain clear communication across teamsContinuously explore design trends, tools, and cultural moments to keep creative fresh and relevantWhat We're Looking For2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within an agency, brand, or sports/entertainment environmentBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related fieldStrong portfolio showcasing digital, social, and brand design workProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with motion tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro)Experience designing for social platforms, with an understanding of best practices across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channelsAbility to translate data and research into visually compelling, easy-to-understand graphics and layoutsStrong understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual storytellingStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality executionHigh standard of excellence, with the flexibility to work nontraditional hours when needed and anticipate challenges with thoughtful communicationAwareness of cultural trends across sports, music, and entertainmentProficiency in Google Suite, Keynote, Slack, and BoxBase salary range: $61-82K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
