Focused Solutions, LLC is a growing Private Practice with locations in Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and District of Columbia offering employee assistance program counseling and private mental health practice. Our motto is client first and we offer services that are both effective and caring. *We are searching for candidates licensed in TENNESSEE Position Purpose: The Contractor Counselor Consultant is responsible for providing EAP and behavioral health interventions to individual employees and their family members. This key role will be responsible for direct clinical interventions for those that are private payers, EAP members of contracted companies, and members of contracted MBH organizations. Who should Apply: Any Master's prepared Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker, or Psychologist with licensure at the clinical level. You get to enjoy a flexible work schedule to include the option of seeing clients via telehealth Hours/Schedule: This role is a contractor role (1099), which can absorb 8-40 hours a week. Hours will incorporate at least one 4-hour block in the evening and/or one 4-hour block on the weekends. Schedules are negotiable outside of the evening/weekend 4-hour block. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for providing ethical clinical interventions for adults, adolescents, and families Maintain clinical documentation as required. Communicate availability with office manager Communicate with EAPs per protocol i.e. clinical reviews Be available for clinical urgent needs for concurrent clients Be available for quarterly practice meetings Keep updated license(s) and liability insurance Be proficient with billing databases, HIPAA compliant video platforms, Gmail, and Office Suites. Job Requirements/Qualifications: Preference for candidates experienced with working with diverse populations A master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling field. Professional licensure required. 3 years post-advanced licensure required (LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, etc.) Demonstrates knowledge and interest in EAP clinical assessment and case management. Diverse experience in employee assistance, counseling, social work, marriage and family, and/or mental health services. Knowledge and experience in core EAP services and community resources. Superior active listening skills and a demonstrated ability to be empathetic to all client concerns. Clinical therapeutic experience in community mental health, hospital or other agency/organization offering CBT, insight oriented, DBT, etc. Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in order to resolve client issues effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage schedule and is organized. Interested in requesting help when needed.
