EXAMPLE OF DUTIES This is a lead role in developing, updating, maintaining, and redesigning the PIT, PTBO, Corporation Taxes, Motor Fuels, and Cigarette Tax custom applications and utilities for the data capture environment. The Senior Applications Developer applies research, systems analysis, and design techniques. This position prepares and reviews system documentation and procedures. You will have the opportunity to design applications and prepare system/application/program specification. It is essential that you are proficient in system application and software being used, verify readability of images and screens, and manage complex projects. Communication is key as you will provide training to employees and expected to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Understanding supported business areas policies, procedures, operations, and systems is vital.Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment.Work hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.In cases of major incidents or major tasks (like system upgrade that cannot be performed during regular work hours), incumbent will be required to work before or after regular work hours. Also, in some cases, in office reporting may be required before or after regular work hours.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, reporting to the office as required. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
