About the Position: Positions in this family provide peer support services, serve as advocates for consumers, and provide information and peer support for consumers in emergency, outpatient or inpatient settings. Minimum Qualifications and Experience:The education requirement at this level consists of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). Has the ability to become a certified Recovery Support SpecialistPreference may be given to applicants who are current or former consumers of mental health servicesSpecial Requirements:Demonstrated participation in advocacy and/or personal knowledge in recovery. Has the ability to become a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist.
