Cyber Security Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Implement the identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) layer for a critical automation platform.• Integrate the platform with government-provided ICAM services using modern protocols like OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.• Develop and maintain identity federation and user stores, including role-based provisioning.• Enforce per-session authentication and authorization for all user and service interactions.• Implement mutual TLS (mTLS), service mesh identity, and certificate lifecycle management.• Design and implement role-based (RBAC) and attribute-based (ABAC) access controls.What You'll Need• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.• Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.• Experience with enterprise identity providers and federation solutions (e.g., Keycloak, Okta).• Experience implementing RBAC and/or ABAC within distributed applications.• Working knowledge of PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and mutual TLS (mTLS).• Understanding of Zero Trust principles and experience implementing audit logging.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($87,100 - $157,450) plus potential for bonuses.• Opportunity to work on mission-critical systems supporting national infrastructure.• Exposure to AI-first engineering and modern development practices.• Comprehensive benefits package including health, wellness, and retirement programs.Apply via Haystack today!
