CNC Operator

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, and maintaining various CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CNC machinery and related software, and a commitment to quality standards. Duties Set up CNC machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other automated equipment using technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM software. Operate machinery such as press brake machines, stamping presses, fabrication tools, and fabrication equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and tooling to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Read and interpret blueprints. Handle materials efficiently within the factory setting, including materials handling and packaging of finished products. Collaborate with assembly line teams for seamless integration of machined components into larger assemblies. Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, quality control checks, and production reports. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or related equipment within a manufacturing facility. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tooling setup, fabrication techniques including welding when necessary. Ability to use hand tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments accurately. Basic math skills essential for calculating dimensions and tolerances. Experience with factory safety standards and materials handling procedures. Familiarity with GD&T principles for precise measurement and quality assurance. Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with manufacturing environments is preferred. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting.
