Position Overview: The Catering and Systems Support Coordinator plays a dual role in promoting catering services and managing essential operational systems. This position is responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, driving catering sales, ensuring smooth system functionality, and supporting weekly financial processes. With a focus on client satisfaction and operational efficiency, this role requires strong interpersonal, technical, and organizational skills to support the restaurant’s growth and customer experience. Responsibilities: Catering & Client Relations: Client Outreach: Proactively connect with new and potential clients to introduce and promote the restaurant's catering services, focusing on growing our catering revenue. Follow-Up with Existing Clients: Maintain regular contact with existing clients to gather feedback, address needs, and ensure continued satisfaction with catering services. Sales Reporting & Analytics: Generate and review regular reports on catering sales, trends, and performance metrics to inform strategic improvements. POS System Support: System Maintenance & Updates: Oversee regular updates to menu items, promotions, and other system features to keep the Heartland system current and effective. Staff Training & Troubleshooting: Provide training to staff on system functionalities and offer troubleshooting assistance as needed to ensure seamless daily operations. Feature Integration: Ensure the integration of loyalty programs, digital menus, and other relevant features to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency. Skills and Qualifications: Client Relationship Management: Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with a focus on catering or client services. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with restaurant systems (Toast preferred) and comfort in system maintenance and report generation. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage financial records, transaction reviews, and catering orders with precision. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for client interactions, team training, and documentation. Problem-Solving Ability: Resourceful in troubleshooting system issues and resolving client inquiries. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in catering, customer service, or operations in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly beneficial. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive pay.
