This individual will step into a senior leadership role to stabilize revenue cycle operations, drive execution, and support the build-out of a scalable RCM function. This role is ideal for a seasoned RCM leader who thrives in fast-moving, complex healthcare environments and can balance strategic direction with hands-on operational leadership. Reports to: VP, AccountingDuration: Minimum six (6) months, with potential for conversionLocation: Remote (travel as needed)Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience and educationPosition Type: Consultant What you'll do:Interim RCM LeadershipStep into a senior RCM leadership role on an interim basisProvide day-to-day leadership and stabilization of RCM operationsEnsure continuity, accountability, and execution across the team Operational Stabilization & Execution Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies within current RCM workflowsDrive process improvements and establish structure where neededBalance strategic oversight with hands-on operational involvement Cross-Functional Partnership Partner closely with Engineering, Accounting, and Customer Success teamsSupport alignment between systems, processes, and financial outcomesCollaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational and technical challenges Client & Stakeholder Engagement Engage directly with outpatient clients as needed to support resolution and stabilizationAct as a senior point of contact for escalations and complex RCM issues Team Build-Out & Support Support hiring, onboarding, and ramp-up of new RCM team membersProvide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to both existing and newly hired staffWhat we're looking for:RCM Leadership ExperienceStrong leadership background in Revenue Cycle ManagementExperience within digital health, outpatient services, or complex healthcare environmentsDemonstrated experience stabilizing, scaling, or turning around RCM operations Execution & Leadership Style Ability to operate hands-on while maintaining strategic perspectiveProven track record of driving execution in ambiguous or high-change environmentsComfortable stepping into interim leadership roles and creating structure quickly Professional Strengths Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across technical, financial, and client-facing teamsWho Should Apply?This role is ideal for an experienced RCM leader who excels in interim, turnaround, or stabilization engagements.
