We work shoulder to shoulder with general contractors, electrical trades, and end clients to deliver clean, code-compliant, well-documented installations on schedule.POSITION SUMMARYTrindom Global is hiring a BICSI RCDD-credentialed Working Project Manager to lead our low-voltage and technology projects across structured cabling, AV, video wall, and DAS scope. This is a hybrid role: you will manage the project (schedule, manpower, buyout, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and client communication) while staying boots-on-ground enough to design, troubleshoot, and validate installations in the field.You will be the senior technical voice on assigned projects — owning design intent, code compliance, and quality from the bid phase through punch and as-builts. If you enjoy the mix of running a job, mentoring techs, and still putting hands on the system when it matters, this role is built for you.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES● Own end-to-end project delivery for assigned Division 27 scope — schedule, budget, manpower, materials, safety, and quality● Review plans and specifications, validate takeoffs, and partner with estimating on pricing and bid strategy● Coordinate with general contractors, electrical contractors, AV integrators, IT departments, and end clients● Generate, review, and stamp pathway, cabling, and rack elevation designs in line with TIA, BICSI, NEC, and local AHJ requirements● Manage submittals, RFIs, ASIs, change orders, and pay applications; maintain accurate project documentation● Lead buyout — qualify vendors, negotiate pricing, schedule deliveries, and protect margin● Run weekly OAC and internal coordination meetings; publish clear three-week look-aheads● Direct and mentor field crews — set installation standards, perform QA walks, and sign off on testing and certification results● Step into the field as a working PM: terminate, test, troubleshoot, and validate when the project demands it● Drive safety culture — JHAs, toolbox talks, and OSHA compliance on every job● Close jobs cleanly: punch, system commissioning, test result packages, as-builts, O&M manuals, and client trainingREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS● Active BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) credential — required● 5+ years of progressive experience managing Division 27 / low-voltage technology scope on commercial construction projects● Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and technology drawings and specifications● Strong working knowledge of TIA-568/569/606/607, BICSI ITSIMM/TDMM, NEC Article 800, and applicable local codes● Experience with structured cabling (Cat 6/6A, OS2/OM4 fiber), racks/cabinets, pathway design, AV head-end and display systems, and rack-level termination● Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project (or equivalent scheduling tool), Excel, and modern PM software● Excellent written and verbal communication — comfortable in front of GC superintendents, owners, and field crews● Valid driver's license with a clean driving record● Authorized to work in the United StatesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS● Additional BICSI credentials (DCDC, OSP) or manufacturer certifications (Panduit PCI, CommScope, Leviton, Corning, Belden)● Experience with video wall / large-format display systems and processors (Planar, Christie, Userful, NovaStar, Crestron, Q-SYS)● DAS, Wi-Fi design, or audiovisual integration background (CTS / CTS-I a plus)● Bluebeam Revu power user; familiarity with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar● OSHA 30● Bilingual English/SpanishPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT● Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights from lifts and rolling scaffolds● Comfortable working in active construction environments — dust, noise, varying temperatures● Travel between active jobsites across the DFW Metroplex; occasional overnight travel for larger projectsWHY TRINDOM GLOBAL● Project variety — commercial, healthcare, education, hospitality, and corporate work● Modern tools, test equipment, and documented installation standards● A team that takes pride in clean cable, straight ladder rack, and tight as-builts● Real career growth — we promote from within and pay for certifications that move you up● Direct access to estimating, project management, and ownership — your work is seenHOW TO APPLYSubmit your resume and relevant certifications, along with a brief note on the projects you're proudest of, to Aaron Brady at abrady@trindom.com.
