Join one of the best companies to work for in Texas, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Data Engineering.Responsibilities & QualificationsAs a Data Engineer, you will:Use data knowledge to identify, retrieve, prepare, manipulate, calculate, and exploit structured and unstructured data sets to create new data setsEvaluate new data sets for use in data modeling and report buildingMaintain the data environmentUse data preparation tools (e.g. Coalesce)Resolve data quality issuesProvide consultation to others with regards to data, systems, and conceptsWhat you bring to this role:Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experienceAt least 2 years of related data experience or equivalent education, training, or experienceWhat sets you apart:Quantitative degree preferred (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science)Data Warehousing / Data Modeling experienceExperience with data preparation toolsInsurance industry knowledgeStrong SQL skillsTexas Mutual Pay TransparencyThe base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role.
