What We ExpectJob Responsibilities:Knowledgeable of electrical controls, component levels, motor and power circuits, lighting and wiring, limit switches, transducers, photocells, analog and discreet I/O, machine controls and hydraulic equipment controls. Must be knowledgeable in electrical code regulation both domestic and international.Responsible for PLC programing, operator interface displays and other software-controlled devices.Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing assembly methods and materials: soliciting feedback from operators.Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods, finished products and system capabilities.Accountable for timeliness and accuracy in reading and interpreting plans and specifications per customer requirements.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Participate and add value as a member of the engineering team.Engages in effective communication within and across all departments.Participate in Company Safety Program through safety meetings, audits, following good safe work practices and maintaining a safety and clean work environment.Commitment to quality by meeting and exceeding our customer expectations and continuously improving our quality management system and their processes to create value for customers, employees and shareholders.Who we are looking forQUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION HOLDER:Familiar with NEC and CE and ISO – 9001.Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical.Basic Knowledge of Eplan.Basic knowledge of PLC structured text programming.Demonstrate some experience with machine control and programming.Knowledge of Phoenix Contact / Schneider / Telemecanique / Modicon PLC development software and Variable Frequency Drives desirable.Knowledge of Delta / Schneider Magelis XBT / Harmony STO & STU HMI’s.Basic knowledge of Local Area Networks (LAN) and communications.Ability to travel 20%Possess strong discipline to provide accurate and timely data.Must be able to work independently, making sound decisions utilizing good judgement.Impeccable attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills.Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time—accurately, efficiently and effectively.Must be self-directed, professional and dependable.Demonstrate dependable work habits and schedule.Observe all safety rules, procedures, and OSHA regulations.Expected (Educational) Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering.Expected Years of Experience:0-2 years.What we offerTKE Airport Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
